I was referred to the Indiana Spine Group by my primary care physician. I was experiencing significant back pain. I was seen by Dr. Konopka & Dr. Adams in both the Greenwood & Bloomington offices. The first 5-star comment goes to the scheduling staff. They could not get me in until the next calendar year; I advised them that I lived closeby and if they had a cancellation to please call me. Dr. Smucker's CMA is very rude. He did one surgery on me and I need another, but he really does not do this surgery much. BUT they will NOT allow you to go to another one of their doctors how do this surgery all the time you are stuck with that provider. I have found another provider who has a nice staff and does this surgery on a regular basis. I don't want to be a learning subject.
