I came to Dr. Szotek with an umbilical hernia and diastasis recti after 2 pregnancies that caused me a lot of pain. He repaired both through one umbilical incision that also made my belly button look better than before. Im out of that pain, stronger, and it looks amazing. So grateful!
I want to preface this with I have not had a surgery performed by Dr. Szotek. I did, however, consult with Dr. S and Val regarding a potential hernia repair and him and his team were incredibly helpful, professional and I can tell he will perform a great surgery and stand behind his work. My som had to have an inguinal hernia repair. Dr. Szotek was so personable and easy to talk to. He answered all our questions and he is very timely if you message him on the app. He made sure we were completely at ease and that we completely understood the procedure before he did it. My son is a teenager. He was afraid but Dr. Szotek made him feel so at ease about it. He was still gonna be naturally a little bit afraid, but he felt like he was in very capable hands and so did I.
