The beach itself it’s amazing. While having a park ranger though taking payment to get in but then having all the following bathrooms “closed for season” is horrible. You’re actively letting people in yet aren’t providing any restrooms to paying visitors? How does that make sense is it closed for season or not.
The beach itself was beautiful, but the wheelchair accessibility needs improvement. They had handicap parking spots, although they were all full when we arrived. Thankfully, the path and boardwalk leading toward the beach were smooth and easy for my husband to navigate in his wheelchair. Unfortunately, the accessibility ended as soon as the boardwalk did. No lifeguards all the time. Tubes and floaties ok. Pack a picnic lunch. State park is more family friendly IMO
