While I've been in the Taos area off and on since 1976, I only found this gem of a shop in 2013. Having bought Native American jewelry in Taos, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque for decades, I know quality when I see it. Owner Khalil and his brother are incredibly knowledgeable and very nice. They work personally with the artisans, and can identify at first glance the maker of a piece of jewelry, without even checking the Hallmark. We were put up in Santa Fe for our anniversary, and took a day trip to Taos to explore the local arts. We drove to Taos and back, taking the high road to Taos from Santa Fe to Taos, and the low road from Taos back to Santa Fe. We walked around the Taos plaza and were drawn into this particular store. The staff was very friendly and patient as we explored their wide range of very reasonably priced and high quality arts and jewelry.
