I would highly recommend Indian Creek Midwifery. Lisa is a wonderful midwife, very knowledgeable, patient, and gracious. We live over 1.5 hours away from the birth center, but it was absolutely worth the drive. Lisa offered sufficient time at each appointment for answering any questions, and gave thorough, informative responses. I appreciated that she offered information but allowed us to make our own decisions without undue influence. Due to reasons, I approached Lisa asking for her services less than a month away from my due date which I knew was probably insane, but she very kindly agreed to this. She then proceeded to have endless patience while I scrambled to rip my medical records away from my previous provider and find a hotel room nearby at the last minute since I live so far away. We worked with Lisa from 5 weeks pregnant to delivery and it was the best decision we made for our family. We are from Rochester so it was a bit of a drive, but the ability to do virtual visits was amazing, especially toward the end of my pregnancy when being in the car for even short distances was very hard. I joined forces with Lisa at the 6mo mark of my pregnancy.
