I currently live at the brooks 808 now. The first day I tried to move in they switched management and I almost never got my keys. Had to locate the maintenance man. Since then they have switched management 2 more times. Now it’s a man running everything by his self. No maintenance no nothing. I’ve have had a hole in my ceiling for 3 weeks now. Been here for about 6 years. Management company has changed hands three times so far. The most recent company that has come in has tried to change the terms of our lease without us signing a new one, and continues to threaten us with $500 fines for things like using a vacant unit with permission 30 minutes past the time we said we would be there- Which we were only using because our shower was not working and they hadn't fixed it for about 3 weeks. I thought it was going to be everything I was told when I accepted the job but it turned out to be the exact opposite. I gave alot of time and energy to trying to get the property up to good standards. I wasnt paid for all my time, i had no vendors, no help, no supplies or parts for nearly a month and a half and still managed to get units turned around.
