This is hands down my FAVORITE restaurant in the city. I first dined here in 2018 and try to make it back for as many special occasions as I can. I just went back recently with my husband to celebrate my birthday, and we had the most exceptional meal, as always. We did the chef's tasting menu with the wine pairing. The ambiance was satisfactory. The food was of average quality, but the service was subpar. Additionally, the restaurant was comparatively expensive compared to other establishments in the market.
Disappointing service despite a big bill. We chose Indian Accent for my partner’s 28th birthday today and noted it in the reservation, but it wasn’t acknowledged. The ambiance was nice and the food was enjoyable, but the service felt impersonal and not what you’d expect at this level. After spending over $1,000, I expected something memorable, not just a decent meal. Fine dining is about more than the food. Sadly, this didn’t live up to the reputation. Not worth it!
Doda barfi treacle tart was fantastic. Warm tart + ice cream is always a winning combo. The blue cheese naans were … not for me. Makhan malai dessert (orange milk foam, a little savoury, topped with almond slices) was ok, would not get again.
