tasty, very reasonably priced, healthy vegan indian food. And indian market.
Went into the store for the first time today, despite living in the area for many years. Being a vegetarian I was thrilled with all the yummy fresh dishes they have, and the SPICES! I went in looking for spices because I'm making an Indian dish this weekend and I was not disappointed! Great prices too. I'll definitely be back regularly.
Best Vegan & Vegetarian Indian food in Los Angeles. A grocery store with a deli. Best dahi vada ever-! Yum.
Although the food is vegetarian only, the Masala Dosa is a wonderful treat - kind of like a potato burrito made with an exquisite chickpea tortilla and different chutneys on the side instead of salsas. If you are adventurous, try each of the Burfee colors (sweets made with milk and possibly nut pastes) until you have a favorite.
