AMAZING!! – My Husband and I moved here over a year ago & this is the best Indian food we've found! It is so yummy! Get the butter chicken & the chickpeas - amazing! Plus, it's family owned and they are so sweet! After only dining with them once or twice they recognized us and sat us in our favorite spot! Bonus: they have great live music on Monday nights! It may be a strange location, but this place is worth the stop!
Worst Service I Have Ever Experienced – First of all, let me admit that this is probably my favorite Indian restaurant in Marin. really awful indian – I really don't understand why anyone likes this place. I love Indian food, but this place is awful. The food is not made with fresh ingredients (the sag paneer seemed to be made from canned spinach and condensed milk) and tastes bland and not at all like authentic Indian. I tried it once - and I hope to never again eat their food.
My Favorite – The owners and wait staff are wonderful. The food is great. Don't bother with the lunch buffet. The price is moderate. I believe the food is under-rated by most. It is not a delicate as some like. I could dine on their various nans alone. The location is strange, in a Travelodge, but conveninet next to Hwy 101. I say, "check it out."
Big time deal at lunch – I read the review about lunch and tried it myself. YES, it was the best lunch buffet ever and for under 8 bucks. I went there for dinner as well and it was excellent food but no were near the cheap price of lunch. If you like indian food you wont be dissapointed!
