I ordered food from India Palace today and honestly the experience was very disappointing. The food had very poor taste and didn’t feel fresh or flavorful at all. I couldn’t even finish it and had to throw most of it away. It completely ruined my mood. I expected much better quality for the price.
⭐☆☆☆☆ I ordered food from India Palace Restaurant today, and the experience was very disappointing. The paratha was undercooked from the inside, the food smelled bad, and the overall taste was terrible. Nothing felt fresh, and the quality was not worth the money at all. Hopefully, the restaurant improves its food quality and hygiene.
This place is a hidden gem. The food is incredible and so fresh and authentic and their prices are fair. Family owned operated and loved. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ve had Indian cuisine all over the world and I’m always so happy when I get to come to Portland and have it here.
Great! I’d love to see this place fully lean into its Bangladeshi heritage 🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩Portland’s diverse food scene would definitely appreciate authentic, home-cooked style Bengali food! It will be a refreshing change from the classic Indian-American menus. (Ektu jhaal komai kintu same flavor rakhle purai hit hobe- fuchka, bhorta, shobji, mach bhaja, teheri, kala bhuna, biye barir roast etc etc). Bengali cuisine is deliciously complex and made with incredible care. I truly believe, as a chef, it can shine on its own here :)
Absolutely delicious with amazing hospitality. My first time trying Indian food and I will definitely be back! The garlic naan, rice, chicken, samosa all 10/10. Can’t recommend enough!
