I took a car in for a pre-purchase inspection. Before, during, and after the inspection, I shared my concerns about loud hissing noises in the engine. They insisted that it was normal. This was my 4th turbo cvt, and it was not normal. The notes on the invoice stated that it was turbo spooling.
