The first thing that comes to mind regarding my first experience with this shop is Knowledgeable. The next is reasonably priced, at with a service level that exceeds my expectations. No one really plans for major issues to arise with a relatively new Subaru, but the sheer amount of miles and challenging roads conditions I had put mine through ended up “inoperable” Steve had me back on the road working ahead of expectations, which meant I could get back to work. I highly recommend my Subaru mechanic!
Know them well, Owner rode my school bus along with his wife! Great kids in school. Took my son's car in for a noise the dealership downtown couldn't find !! Steven discovered brake pads on rear of the car were incorrectly installed ! Thanks guys, My son is in the Navy home on leave. Drives along ways .dealership manger refused to step up towards the mistake.
My daughter needed an emergency repair. Steve got her car in and fixed quickly. He was super helpful and the price was amazing.
I will start here, Steven is an amazing individual. He has old school ethics and cares more about his customers than most these days, and more importantly he puts people in front of profits. His pricing is good and very fair, they go the extra mile, and the works gets done in a timely manner with high quality. I am careful in who and what I recommend. I can tell you that Spokane is lucky to have this shop and the people in it.
I found this shop back in 2023, he was the closest shop to me (from Flathead County MT), that was doing head gaskets on Subarus correctly; Machine work for the heads, MLS gaskets, OEM Timing components. They were semi-difficult to get in contact with, and coordinate the pickup/drop-off, it was about a week turn-a-round, and the price was reasonable. They were able to meet me at an un-godly early hour for a pickup as well, as I was using the train to get back to the area.
