My partner and I have been subjected to ongoing harassment and intimidation by William from Civium to the point where we are now considering selling our property. Most recently, the garden at the front of our property was destroyed, and we have been advised that this has negatively impacted the property’s presentation and potential sale value. This situation has caused us significant stress and concern regarding both our enjoyment of the property and its financial value.
Will is doing a great job as our strata manager. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a strata manager
Civium have proven to be disinterested in a small (7 units) complex. They failed to hold our last AGM within 15 months of the previous AGM, they failed to respond to communications from the committee following the AGM until pressured to do so from multiple committee members, they have failed to follow up on an in person meeting with committee members (four months after the AGM) to progress issues from the AGM other than to provide the minutes of the AGM.
I would recommend avoiding Civium based on our experience. During the initial inspection, only general photos were taken, but at the end of the lease they conducted a much more detailed inspection and held us to a higher cleaning standard than was indicated at the start. Maintenance issues were also handled very slowly. We reported a leaking ceiling, but no repairs were carried out for five weeks.
