I've been banking with Independent Bank for 30 + years. They have been amazing to work with. Anytime something happens they are on it. The tellers are friendly and always helpful.

Sat in the drive through for 25 min watching the workers have a conversation on the inside before anyone try to help me. Happens all the time and it’s starting to get out of hand the hogher ups need to fix this
I used to love Independent but now I’m currently switching to Huntington or Captial One. There overdraft fees are insane and they’ve removed any type of grace period. It used to be as long as the account ended positive it wouldn’t matter but now they purposely put charges through before deposits for additional fees. I used to think having a smaller, local bank was worth the trade off for non-notational access but it isn’t anymore. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM!
One 10.99 over draft fee turned into us owning them 98.99 don't bank here they take advantage with thier "fees"
