Darren at Independent Living has been very helpful with our bath seat, including contacting the manufacturer. Darren was quick to address our issue at no cost to us, ensuring that we received good quality service. Darren is an excellent people person dealing with individual needs, and I have no problem recommending him as 5-star plus. For seniors’ and disabled equipment he is the person to talk to.
Darren has owned and operated Independent Abilities for over 15 years, after a career in health and safety. The store carries a huge range of mobility and medical equipment. Darren has an intimate knowledge of assistive equipment and the medical system, and helped to answer questions that we didn't even know we had. Shout out to this company, their professionalism, their courtesy, their patients, and the amount of effort they put in to finding or getting you exactly what you need. EDIT/UPDATED REVIEW: Darrin Kisac went above and beyond by helping me navigate the red tape of disability and he was amazing at being patient with me while I hounded this man waiting for parts so that he could do my repair.
