I have visited Independence Village to find a place for my mom. Upon walking in I was greeted with a beautiful entryway and a friendly receptionist. I spoke with Heather and she was very informative, and let me talk with the staff and see a few room options. Everyone was so friendly and the rooms were bright and clean. We encountered the maintenance man, Ken, and he was so friendly and assured me that if there was ever an issue, he would be right there to address it. A beautiful building, excellent culinary team and overall staff. It is an excellent place for senior independent living
Our first visit started with Heather, Pearl, and Sharon. They took the time and answered all of our questions. I appreciated their experience and honesty. This was a big decision. I have to say that all of the staff (cleaning, maintenance, RA's, and dining) are always so patient and kind, and I feel confident that my Dad (Carl) is receiving the best possible care. We were very happy with our tour of Independence Village with Heather Nalbock. We took a video tour with her because at the moment we are in California. Heather was very thorough walking through the whole complex, showing us our choice for apartments and even showing us how long it would take for my mom to walk from her preferred apartment to the elevator.
