I visited this location today and the front desk lady was so focused on her gossiping conversation with the housekeeper she watched me stand in front of the desk for over 10 minutes never asked if i needed assistance or anything. I eventually walked away and found the residents room that i was looking for. I know people like to gossip but to ignore guest and gossip about your job with a housekeeper who is also on the clock supposed to be working is completely disrespectful behavior. Independent Village Aurora Ohio is a great choice for our mother. She is cared for in a well-maintained facility. She has been there three years and enjoys her apartment. She has made friends and been involved in the activities. It is the right place, at the right time for her and definitely recommend.

IV Aurora has some of kindest people living and working here. They really welcome someone new and "show them the ropes." The choices of how to spend their time are remarkable--painting, bell choir, even virtual college classes! The food smells, looks and tastes amazing. Employees go above and beyond every day you can tell that their hearts are 100% into what they do.
