Independence Square Apts are great in my opinion, They work with you especially if your honest and straight forward. They give you and opportunity to regain Independence by giving you a home you can be proud of. I love the property it feels like home. Sunday, my car was towed from visitors parking without any notice. I had to find out my car was taken after I completed my respite care for my client. According to them my stickers were expired. When I confronted the office about it the following day, Jocelyn (or Joshlyn) said they didn't have to follow any towing law because of a clause in their lease. If I could give zero stars i would. I have court with tenant across the hall who states the office gave MY personal information to , to file a fake complaint. Under no circumstances should office personnel should be giving other residents information about other residents. Thankfully I have the proof. Not only is this apt community not equipped to even do the bare essentials of maintenance, they advertise a pool that they can't open for safety concerns. This houses drug dealers and rapists. I was a resident for 12 years. Do not rent to this place. 1st unprofessional, ghetto office staff, maintenance steals and big turnover in management. Now since I'm leaving they are railroading me to get an apartment. Crime is at all time high shootings etc. Very dishonest office staff. Only for section 8 not for the everyday working people. I urge u to run the other way. Pool also closed due to old men hanging around looking at your children. B warned.
