I moved to Independence Place in September 2024. It has been a very pleasant experience. The Maintenance Manager, Jake, has been very attentive to the minor problems I had. He went out of his way to determine the problem with my washing machine which resulted in it needing a new pump. He contacted GE who replaced the pump. Chrystal, the leasing manager, has been very attenlive to all of my questions. Katie, Assistant Leasing Agent, is very pleasant and willing to help in any way. Today I had maintenance done on my kitchen. Everything was done precisely as explained and exactly the way I expected. Independence Place has a great maintenance crew and they are very responsive and timely whenever there’s a problem. They definitely went above and beyond to get my kitchen repaired.
Amazing community, leasing and maintenance staff, people, amenities, floor plans, overall peace of mind with homely environment. Stayed here for 2 years and would 10/10 recommend it to anyone. Slightly expensive, but totally worth it!
So I want to first start by saying Independence Place was a place I called home for almost 4 years. I absolutely loved it there and if it had not been for some unexpected circumstances that came up I can truly say I’d still be there now! I have lived here 16 months and up until this week, I was somewhat happy to live here because the amenities are great, and the maintenance staff and their services are superb. However, I have regrettably learned that management is very discriminatory against black people like me. A complaint was made about my "incredibly high" music and TV volumes by my alleged neighbors.
