Hands down the best gym in the state. Very welcoming and just feels like home. The trainers, staff and long time members really make it feel like a community. I’ve been coming here for 10+ years. Moved to maricopa a few months ago and still make the 45 min drive because there is nowhere else I’d rather go!
Terrible gym. The equipment is very dusty in the hard to reach places. I'm talking years of dust of not thoroughly cleaning the equipment, just a quick clean. The equipment is pretty old too which honestly isn't bad if you would just keep it clean. Another gripe, they will have multiple machines that aren't very good but then only one machine that is good. I’ve had an excellent experience at Independence Gym. The facility is consistently very clean, well maintained, and organized, which makes it an outstanding place to work out. I've been a member for over 10 years and love this place. It has the equipment, space, and community that makes it feel like home. The front desk staff is friendly and always says goodbye when I leave. There always doin something either spraying equipment or vacuuming around the gym. I've tried other gyms but nothing has the feel of this place. Plus located literally blocks from old town!
