Recently spent almost a hour in the store with my two kids and fiancé wanting feeder fish but the only employee interaction I got was when my brand new mask came down my face just under my nose and a employee told me “put your mask over your face” then proceeded to go over to a employee say something to her and then they both looked my direction and stared. Do not purchase live animals from this store. You buy "as is" and they will not stand behind it. Bought as bearded dragon from them. Something was wrong from the start as it would not eat or hardly move. They took it back as a donation to them and refused to give me my money back! Was thinking about buying a monkey from them, but not after this experience. Will never shop there again....BUYER BEWARE OF THIS STORE! — feeling sorry with Kathryn Mae Coleman and 2 others.
I would recommend them for most pet items- especially reptile- but be careful buying their tarantulas. We bought one today and all that was in the enclosure it came with was a recent molt. The enclosure had a hole drilled in the back that was a little too big for the size of the molt, so I think it escaped in-store. They have a no return policy on live animals so we are out our money on it. Disappointed as I was really excited to bring the baby home. 😭
RecommendedI bought a beautiful little Sulcata Tortoise from incredible pets and it was a great experience. They made sure I was well informed about the tortoise and the needs for the tortoise. They were all very nice and welcoming. I love this store. I’ve been going here for the past 2/3 years from their old location to their new location. During the COVID they are ensuring people’s safety and they are doing it in a polite way as well. I was walking around and my mask was under my nose. I haven't actually been to this store but they automatically get my support for requiring masks in a nonmandated county. Thank you for valuing the safety of your staff and customers
They are good for somethings but are not cross trained. I had a horrible experience today with fish. If you don’t want to learn new things and be a valuable employee, go sling burgers. They are always rushing you and make you feel you are an imposition. Very disappointed in them.
we were rushed out the store before we could even really look at anything or make a decision.
