Mediocre at best, much more to be desired. I visited during their opening, and to be honest, I was slightly disappointed with the overall dining impression. The sushi was nothing special, and there were dabs of Sriracha in the plate (first picture) which was random at best. The ginger was not fresh, most likely from a restaurant supply store. Great presentation of their foods.. beautiful environment ..
The previous menu was much better and im not sure why they'd call it Inaka if its not an actual japanese restaurant. Music was super slow and weird. Appetizers came at the same time as main course which was weird. Most of the sushi roles and poke bowl had an overall lack of flavor. One sushi roll was fantastic called takaki with crusted tuna.
This place is fantastic. Wow. Wonderful folks run it. The food out outstanding. Lovely atmosphere. The food is organic and local and everything is hand made daily by the amazing young folks working here. Very friendly. The menu is perfect. The French Toast is legendary. I had a Japanese bowl with hanger steak. Yum. We will be back for sure. So happy to discover this place.
It’s really great to have something this unique and sophisticated in the area. Highly recommend. No photos because we were busy eating. We’ve been there twice for brunch (fantastic) and finally last night for dinner (even better). I ordered the scallops, they were cooked perfectly, as was the risotto. Husband ordered the uni carbonara, which was really an exciting dish. We will be returning repeatedly! Prices are reasonable, service is friendly and prompt. Please try them out!
