Took my 1 year old puppy in for her 1st vet visit for routine exam and shots. I was greeted by a tech who then took my dog back to be examined. The vet (Dr. Devin James) comes back in without my dog looking fearful. Said they had to muzzle her because she lunged at the tech and peed all over the floor, and for future visits would need to sedate her the night before and the day of her next visit (at my expense). TE " JIFFY LUBE " OF VETS.This place is good at pretending they give care about all animals. They lure you in with " low prices and then add exceesive prices on other unessasary services they upsell you on. Once they see you dont have money they literally indirectly dismiss you. My dog has a bacterial infection in his ear. A cytology test would of determined excatly whats wrong but instead was trying to upsell me on getting a culture and sending it to a lab for almost 700 dollars. Ok. I've been a client for 23 years with 6 dogs now. I adopted a new little friend & met the foster at a different vet than IRAH, where the foster takes her dogs. WOW, you guys, I can't believe how different it can be at other places. It was a mess. So this is the 3rd time in reviewing Ina Road Animal Hospital. This is THE BEST veterinary service in town.
