Disappointing Experience with Warranty Service - Leslie's Cape Coral We purchased a Polaris pool cleaner from the Leslie's Pools location at 1715 Cape Coral Pkwy W (next to Lobster Lady) for approximately $1,600. Horrible, horrible experience!!! This (new) store manager at this Lake Forest, CA location, Joseph is very rude and cocky. Today, my husband and I stopped there to refill 2 cases of muriatic acid (8 containers) and 2 cases refill for liquid chlorine (8 containers). I told Joseph that the other gallon container I last purchased had a leak and the acid spilled. I also said that I had to rinse the container before taking it with me today for refill. Had a big algae problem. Went in to the Rocky Point store. Joe, the manager was outstanding. Helped me to rebalance the pool. Did end up spending about $250 or more in chemicals and supplies. Went in for. Few days continuously and Joe was so patient and helpful. Then went in on 7/4th and although still helpful, I felt it odd that Rich told me that “I didn’t need to come in every day”! I had an overwhelmingly negative experience at this company, largely due to the toxic work environment due to management. Our old bosses behavior was outright unacceptable—he frequently made racist, sexist, homophobic and inappropriate remarks, creating a hostile atmosphere for everyone. He was also very rude to customers, especially customers who were people of color. The Transit store has the most ignorant employees on planet earth. The store is supposed to open at 9AM but on 9/15, there was a sign on the door that said the store would open at 9:30 due to an inventory. There was an employee in the store with the door locked and was ignoring customers that were outside waiting well past 9:30. The woman that was working completely ignored the customers and couldn't be bothered to come to the door and explain why the store was still closed at 9:45. Leslie's installed a RayPak heater on December 4, 2021. It is now June 15th and I still do not have a working heater. I have had multiple service calls but they cannot seem to fix it. Often the service call is canceled without explanation. I do not recommend Leslie's for any type of installation.

Isaiah Abrams at the Cary NC does an excellent job of analyzing pool samples and directing the correct action to achieve a clear pool. Leslie's is fortunate to have such a caring and knowledgeable employee!
