The owner likes to screem at walkers that are ACROSS the road from the property and are heading up narrow neck. Absolutely 100% rude, and you should avoid. I even went and knocked on the door to ask him "what on earth his problem was" the guy locked the door before I even came up to it, instead choosing to cower in there, rather than clarifying what on earth he was banging on about. Imagine my surprise discovering he is trying to run a business from the place. No wonder it's self catering.
We had a great stay here for a number of days. Great base for exploring the area, close enough to the shops but far enough from the crowds. Would definitely consider coming back.
We had a great stay at In My View. The host was friendly, everything was perfect and we couldn't ask for anything more. Will definitely come back to stay the next time we come to visit Katoomba.
