Cathy has been such an advocate for thoughtful healing. Truly works with passion and patience. She has gotten to the root cause of many of my injuries over 10 years, and either "fixed them" = never flared up again or brought me close to the 95% -99% niggle free zone. In Balance Physical Therapy has done an excellent job of treating me virtually during the pandemic. When I first met with Cathy back in the Spring, I was unable to run due to injury. I am now competing in a Half Ironman this weekend! Cathy was instrumental in getting me back to training and on the road to recovery. I am grateful!
I went to Cathy because I was concerned that I was not going to be able to run the Miami Marathon without getting injured. We started with a running analysis and based on that I was taught about proper posture and exercises that I could do to improve it. I completed the Miami Marathon 2020 injury free!
I was diagnosed with Peroneal Tendonitis a few months ago. I could not run for two months. I went to two different Physical Therapists and none of them gave me the attention and care that In Balance PT is giving me. I am working with Yosuee Barrios. He is the best! I’ve found In Balance Physical Therapy and met Cathy after visiting other Sport Therapists / Chiropractors without any success on treatment of a persisted knee pain that caused me to stop running. Cathy not only taught me the proper way to run, but also difference exercises to strength my core, main muscles, to correct my posture, to work on the soft tissues surrounding the areas in pain and gave me many useful and interesting information to continue my path on my own.
