On Friday I was headed to Saskatoon from Winnipeg and just over the SK border, my car died. I googled for a service station and found IMZ. I had CAA so I got towed there. The tow truck driver who was the owner, immediately identified it "misfired". Long story short, I was stuck in Moosimin for the night. Did a bunch of "work" that I didn't ask for, was unauthorized. They were supposed to only change 1 bearing as the other had just been changed, they changed both and some how ended up in my diff checking that as well. Now I'm having issues with my diff I didnt have before and cant check it as they put the plug in so tight I can't get it off. And my vehicle is now making some clanging noise on the left that it never made before, like they didn't put something back together right. I pulled in mid-road trip on a scorching hot day and asked if they could top up my AC. They instantly assured me they could help, finished what they were doing, and went the extra mile tuning up and cleaning my whole AC system while it recharged. Amazing service - better than I’ve seen in the city in ages.
BEWARE OF THIS SHOP AND OWNER I was driving and passing by from this town whe. my vehicle gives me little trouble. Owner of shop could have done better job, but he put new part in my vehicle which was faulty, he spwnd whole day to make that part work and did unnecessary parts (spark pulgs installed) and then charged me double the price which he quoted and I was agreed to pay. he brought his WiFE at shop to get the payment, end of day he agreed that new Value is faulty and he have to order new, hence it was weekend and it too... read more
