When I was first diagnosed with epilepsy, I started seeing a doctor at Middlesex Hospital, but they referred me to the Yale Epilepsy Center because I needed more specialized care. I originally had a different neurologist there, but I have been seeing Dr. Imran Quraishi for several years now. I haven’t had any seizures at all since he’s been my neurologist. Many medications that are given to people for epilepsy can cause bad side effects, but he has been able to keep me on medication that doesn’t cause any bad effects at all.... read more
