One of Mebane's gems! I'm embarrassed to admit that I lived in Mebane for almost a year before I saw a post offering a stained glass course, signed up, and wandered in. Don't be like me! If you're new to Mebane, take a class ASAP and meet some people! If you're kinda nerdy or kinda ND or kinda queer - bring a bag...you're gonna walk out with half the store. Their things are ok. We bought something there but before that my elbow somehow touched one thing hanging on a shelf and it fell off. So I ended up paying an extra of $59. I'd say that they should hang these fragile pieces more carefully. I went in with bare hands, not like with a backpack. I'm not sure I feel like going there again.
A very cool store made up of handmade art by local artists. Toby is the best sales cat and always has great recommendations and purr-fect customer service skills.
Had SUCH a great time shopping all the items from local artists! I picked up a few items, and have regrets about ones I left LOL. And, obviously, I had to give Toby all the chin rubs. I am a couple of hours away, but I'm looking forward to coming up for one of their in-store classes in the future as well!
