Bad Company – Their free estimate people are extremely pushy and dishonest. Do not let them come over for an estimate. You'll have an impossible time getting them to leave without a signature on a contract. For a simple underlayment and reshingle, they tried to sell me a job for over 7000! Which they attempted to back it up with lies and gimmicks. And wouldnt leave. My house is closer to a $2700 job.
Ripped me off – Stay away! Im not a usual complainer. This company truly will scam and attempt to rip you off. This company came over for a free estimate on my roof. They talked me in to signing a contract with my credit card to hold the job for up to a year, but never told me it was a contract. They began filling it out describing it as an estimate. Its extremely simple one page piece of paper with 0 specifics on it. They never even went on my roof. And the measurements are a rough sketch in a grid, and an estimate at best.... read more
Great value, great people – Improve It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. My wife and I knew that our home needed new insulation since our energy bills were high, and the knowledgeable energy expert Improve It sent out showed us just how little insulation we actually had. Their sales pitch wasn't high pressured at all, he laid out the facts for us in plain words, answered all of our questions extremely well, and by the end we could easily see how the insulation would pay for itself in no time. beware of improve it – I recently had improve it come out for an insulation estimate and they sent two people out that seemed very nice at first. They arrived at 6 and did not finish inspecting the inside and outside of the home until after 9:30. I was a little annoyed but they seemed nice so we went along with it. Then after the hour long demo with a birdhouse and a powerpoint slideshow I kept asking them for a price but they would not give a price until they were finished.
