Early this morning, I found an abandoned young cat in distress, and in great pain on Beech Street. It had probably been hit by a vehicle, wrapped in a piece of clothing, and left to die in agony in the cold. Who knows how long it had been lying there! I took this poor cat to Imperial Vet on John Street (#73), and the staff there were beyond amazing! Dr. Mandy assessed this kitty; however it was deemed that this cat should be humanely euthanized to put him/ her out of its misery. Prognosis was not good. I cannot express enoug... read more
I just had to have my cat euthanized and I can't tell you how caring and compassionate these people were. They shared with me what to expect from the beginning to the end and after care which was so comforting at at such a emotional time. From the hugs to the emotional support these people were just the best they could be. They showed true compassion in a very difficult time. I would just like to thank them so very much.
We bring our dogs and cats here. Everyone, including the front desk, the vet techs, and the veterinarians, are kind and helpful.
