felt so good i almost cried... seriously did not expect this place to be that amazing... will definitely come back
honestly hard to beat if you want a good meal withold fashion vibes. the burgers are defiently the way to go, super juicy. i got the patty melt and it was great so maybe it's just thier whole savory menu. only thing is the wait can drag on for a while even when its not that busy... kinda wish theyd bring out waters faster or something. totally worth it though fot the old school feels while you eat.
It actually felt really nice and quiet in there. Food was solid and the service is always friendly.
...so we were driving through amador city not expecting much and stumbled into this place for lunch. the burger I got was honestly one of the best Ive had in a long time, really juicy and the bun was perfectly toasted. my freind had the fish and chips and it was crispy and light, not soggy at all, which is rare. the patio out back was super chill and had a nice view of the little main street we ended up hanging out there for way longer than we planned. service was fast even though it looked busy, our waiter was really friend... read more
honestly i walked in expecting it to be one of those old timey tourist trap places but from the moment i sat down it was just so warm and cozy and the person serving me remmbered my order from like two months ago and that kind of thing really sticks with you i had the special again its this pasta dish that changes every visit but always hits the right notes and the bread they bring out is just the best thing i swear i could make a meal of it alone have even wondered if they would just sell me a loaf to take home ive been bac... read more
