Over five hour delay for everyone without a ferry reservation
Place looks clean to wait for the ferry. Surrounding area looks great
Checked before I left and it said parking lot was 90% full. Got to the lot and many spaces were reserved for “authorized vehicles only” or “reserved 24hours”. Luckily managed to fit in the last spot, which was very tight. Checked after I parked and the status on the ferry website was still reading that there was 10% space left. It was a lie! If you go, have a backup plan if the ferry status shows 10% availability. Also it was $30 to park for 36hrs so that plus tickets is same price as driving on.
