Imoto, which translates into 'little sister' in Japanese, is an ideal name for this establishment, which is an extension of the adjacent Buccan American restaurant. Unlike Buccan, which is quite spacious, Imoto is a more cozy space, where diners can feast on Japanese offerings. It tries to recreate the typical izakaya (Japanese gastropub) feel. You can enjoy delicious dumplings, sushi, sashimi, tempura and nigiri here. Accompany them with sake for an authentic Japanese meal.

The location is fantastic, tucked away just off Worth Avenue on the island. Inside, the ambiance is just right: small, beautifully decorated, dimly lit, and full o... read more
Imoto is a great little gem! I dined there for my birthday upon a recommendation from my co worker who is very acclimated to Palm Beach / The Breakers area. Needless to say his rec did not disappoint! Food is a bit pricey as you'd expect from PB but all else checked off the boxes. Additionally, the post event customer service was even better than expected! I had left my wallet at the restaurant but had already flown home to another state by the time the restaurant opened the next day. The GM mailed back the wallet to me via ... read more
We were shocked when visiting Palm Beach how few restaurants are open at night. Unfortunately we ended up at Cafe Boulud last evening which was twice the cost and half the quality of Imoto. We tried four smaller plates between the two of us and wish we had room for more. Every dish was excellent, good portion sized for two, inspired, and unique. Pork belly with cantaloupe was a favorite. The gnocchi with asparagus and duck with potatoes pancakes were also incredible. We were fortunate to get a table. My only small complaint ... read more
