I absolutely love Immortal Beloved salon! I’ve been driving to Richmond from Charlottesville to get my hair done at Immortal for 4 years now (every 6-8 weeks) and it’s always worth the drive! Nikki and Bri have colored and highlighted my hair and they nail it every time! Emily cuts my hair and she’s amazing!! The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and has a great atmosphere, which is why I trusted the positive reviews and decided to book an appointment. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I came in with hair that reached my hips and specifically asked for a simple blunt trim to remove dead ends while keeping my length. The only layering I requested was some face-framing pieces around the front. The stylist even asked where I wanted those layers to start, and I clearly said no shorter than my chin. Madeleine is so incredibly talented at what she does. She gives a stellar haircut, is so pleasant to chat with, and will give you the best hair wash of your life! I cannot recommend her enough.
I went in wanting to cover up some greys, and with dark brown hair, coloring can feel a little scary. I knew I didn’t want anything too blonde, but I also didn’t have an exact vision. I was able to show Skye photos of what I liked and didn’t like, and she truly listened to every word. Together, we came up with a plan and trusted the process—and she absolutely made my dreams come to life. My hair looks so natural, and the color dimension is flawless. I am beyond thankful I found Skye!
