I went here about a week and everyone here was so nice. The salon is tucked away so a bit hard to find but the exterior and interior are so cutely decorated. They were so nice to book a same day appointment for me too since I was only in town for a few days! I absolutely love Immortal Beloved salon! I’ve been driving to Richmond from Charlottesville to get my hair done at Immortal for 4 years now (every 6-8 weeks) and it’s always worth the drive! Nikki and Bri have colored and highlighted my hair and they nail it every time! Emily cuts my hair and she’s amazing!! I don’t even have to show her a picture, I just tell her what I’m thinking and she does her magic!! I will continue to drive an hour and 20 min for these ladies because they are worth it! The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and has a great atmosphere, which is why I trusted the positive reviews and decided to book an appointment. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I came in with hair that reached my hips and specifically asked for a simple blunt trim to remove dead ends while keeping my length. The only layering I requested was some face-framing pieces around the front. The stylist even asked where I wanted those layers to start, and I clearly said no shorter than my chin. I went in wanting to cover up some greys, and with dark brown hair, coloring can feel a little scary. I knew I didn’t want anything too blonde, but I also didn’t have an exact vision. I was able to show Skye photos of what I liked and didn’t like, and she truly listened to every word. Together, we came up with a plan and trusted the process—and she absolutely made my dreams come to life. My hair looks so natural, and the color dimension is flawless.
