IB is my go-to salon and Madeline is my go-to girl!! She does an amazing job every time, even when I have only a vague idea of what I want. She's taken care of me while I had nearly waist length hair and now she helps me maintain a short bob after donating the majority of my hair. I always leave feeling super confident. The salon itself is also well maintained and beautifully decorated!
Madeline saved my life! I had gotten a bad curly cut and happened to be in Richmond visiting. She was able to fix it and in the process gave me a self esteem boost. I cannot thank her enough. I'll be back!
I was so nervous to try a new salon, but I have never loved my hair this much . I have wavy thick hair with a lot of volume and it’s easy to turn it into a puff ball. Emily did a phenomenal job, it has so much movement and bounce. Even on oily days I just look shaggy in a good way and the price for her cut was so reasonable!! I’m looking forward to coming back 🥰
I went to IB for a trim with Shay, just to take off what was needed to keep my hair healthy. I get hair color and cut services here semi-regularly, but this is the first time I had been with shay. The hair wash was great, but when it came to the haircut she didn't section my hair much, and seemed to only trim the bottom edge around my hair after brushing it straight. I’ve been seeing Jessica for a few years now, and she’s wonderful. She’s trained and extremely knowledgeable in the “curly girl” method, and has helped teach me how to nurture my curls. She’s also just a fun, uplifting, all-around great human. The salon is clean and beautiful and never too crowded, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend.
