Dr. Angel Gomez is no longer a U.S. Civil Surgeon, and we discovered this the hard way. During our USCIS interview, we were issued a Request for Evidence (RFE) and forced to completely redo the mandatory health examination. This costly mistake has pushed back our application processing time by months (maybe even years since we haven’t heard back from uscis after resubmitting the new I-693), preventing what should have been an on-the-spot approval. I got notice from USCIS, that this doctor is no longer listed as a doctor who is not on the designated civil surgeon list. So I will have to undergo the entire medical examination by a designated civil surgeon, again... Money down the drain!
Dr. Gomez and team is very professional and most importantly kind. The office is not crowded and is comfortable. The process was easy and simple and I was very happy with the service that they provided. It was a fairly easy process with them being so responsive and knowledgeable. I was referred to them by my immigration lawyer and I recommend them not only for the reasons above but also because you are not sitting with people who are sick while you await your medical exam since that’s all that they do!
