RecommendedMiddle of summer, my son breaks 3 spokes on his bike. It's a specialty wheel so I had to look at the manufacturer to replace it. Of course they were out of stock and not coming in for months. Even then it would have been $68 with shipping. Took the wheel into Immel to see if it could be repaired. One day later my son is back on his bike and it only cost me $11. I cannot recommend Immel Cycle more.
My daughter's bike had a two flat tires. They helped us fill them with air and helped tune up a few other things in just a few minutes.
Honest and trustworthy repairs!
I've had Allen pack and ship several bicycles for me across the country. He's done an excellent job. The bikes were packed professionally and arrived in the same nearly perfect condition in which they were shipped. I've known Allen for nearly thirty years. He's been doing bike repairs for probably twice that long. If you want someone to work on your bike who knows what he's doing, he's your guy. I purchased my road bike about 5 years ago, and the shop gave me an affordable layaway program to pay it off. I've been taking bicycles there for years to be repaired and the price is always incredibly reasonable! Allen, the repair guy is knowledgeable about everything bicycle.
Great shop with long standing ties to the community. Very knowledgeable about his profession and pretty much any bicycle he services. Highly recommend using this shop if looking for a new cycle or service. He also organizes weekly rides for the community.
I dropped my bike off to be tuned up and back brakes fixed. We were told it would be done in a week or so. After four weeks I called and was very rudely told it wasn't fine and he had no idea when it would be done. He didn't even know which bike was mine. I had to describe it to him over the phone.
