We put in a work order to have our garbage disposal replaced under our warranty with AHS. The company came out and spent about 3 minutes pulling stuff out of the disposal in order to get it to work. However the unit was completely corroded and would’ve been replaced under warranty. The company failed to document it and the AHS won’t replace it under warranty. I expect better from companies especially with plumbing as they work with homeowners and insurance.

Do not use this company. They do shoddy work and are very slow to follow up on work orders. The faucet they repaired less than 30 days ago is already not working. When I called them, the dispatcher, named Amanda who 'claimed' to be the manager was rude and condescending. When I advised her they did a bad job, she replied, 'that's fine.' Very unprofessional!

Immediate Response Plumbing was there in our hour of need! The winter storm of 2021 froze us to death & then burst our pipe - leaving us with extensive home damage & NO water. Immediate Response fixed the pipe with a new one that will expand - should this line ever want to freeze again. We are very grateful for the great service during this tough time. WE have American Home Shield that uses Immediate Response & we have nothing but a complete run around of people at Immediate Response but also AHS outside the US that is hard to understand them speaking to begin with & a local plumber Immediate Response SATX - Dianne continued to be completely rude & raising her voice even after I apologized 3 x's & requested we start over. She continues her rudeness & wanting to know my question like I didn't already mention it... hello! How is it difficult to answer simple $ questions???? ... read more

Company was sent out by our Home Warranty provider to repair plumbing leak. Upon arrival, plumbers cut multiple holes in walls but were unable to locate leak, so they decided it was an in-slab leak. I was given a price of between $550-$950 to "pinpoint and isolate" the leak, and a verbal quote for an additional $2,700 (approximately) to repair the leak once pinpointed and isolated, and their other technicians were schedule to come back to complete the "pinpoint and isolate". I would give this company a -5 star because they are rude and unprofessional. I spoke with a Diane there and she rudely spoke with me. They do not hold true to their 30 day warranty. They told me my warranty was voided when I cancelled with AHS which their receipt does not show it. Kept getting the run around. Going to tell others never use them.

In Feb 2016 this company responded to a home warranty call at the home I rent to an elderly female tenant. They had the tenant sign and agree to the work without my knowledge...even though they verified while setting up the appointment that I was the owner and were told to call me for the repairs (so apparently they understand that the property owner or an authorized agent must consent to the work). $250 to excavate a 1x1x1 hole to diagnose a sprinkler regulator issue.
