Understaffed and when not understaffed instead of actively looking after patients, they hangout by their computers on their phones and gossip. I had my father get treated here most recently for a past stroke and seizures and they never kept his room clean. Stains on the floor, dirt build up, and letting himself be soiled for who knows how long. Those are just the beginning. Each patient has a right to direct and choose care. Not to tie a patient down and made to feel like a prisoner.

I was brought to Immanuel because it was the only hospital that had an ICU bed available. I was very pleased with the nursing staff. Each day I was approached by senior staff to find out how the nursing staff was treating me and I was able to give a good report for all of them. I I was less than pleased with the dietary staff. The food was awful, I learned to order yogurt and fruit plate because the food I was served was often in edible. In addition it was wrong on almost every tray.
