We have two PD-500 drills working in mid-Michigan area doing a project for a utility. The staff at IML goes the extra mile to provide service and follows-up on calls. Bob is great as his former lineworker background is a perfect match for our work. Appreciate both Amber in the office with software and Bob who have made our use of the drills a great experience!

Exceptional customer service! We made our first drill purchase over 10 years ago. To keep with industry standards, we send our equipment in for annual service and calibration. Unfortunately our drill was temporarily lost (6+ weeks) mid-shipment in the fall of 2020. IML immediately stepped up to assist us in tracking our shipment. When that did not work, they graciously offered us a loaner drill to keep our production going while we tried to resolve our shipping issue. Purchased the Underwater IML-RESI PD400 resistance drill. The drill works great and was a massive timesaver performing in depth inspections. We were able to collect significantly more data with a substantial increase in value added to the client. Excellent customer service, very helpful throughout the entire purchase and training process.

Regarding the PD-Series: We recently switched from an F series to a PD series. We've probably done 50ish inspections with it so far and the speed and ease (particularly for the aerial tests we've done) is amazing. Previously with our F-Series, if I had an inspection that was to be done in the tree by a climber, we would have to raise and lower the drill after each drilling to change out the test strip. I purchased a F Series drill to use for inspecting decay in trees from IML. They were very friendly throughout the process and did not try to push me into any one of there products. Amber took time to get to know what I would be using the drill for and what would fit my budget. I ended up purchasing a refurbished drill and when it arrived I was surprised how clean and new the drill looked. If you told me the drill was new I would have never known.
