I was looking for a salon that specializes in natural mixed-race or African-American hair. What a surprise - a hidden gem. Located so close, but I had never noticed it when on Badillo. Found it on Google searching for salons near me. Ultra pleasant, worthwhile hair experience. Midday, there were other customers of different ethnicities, cultures, generations, and gender. I have been going my stylist Irene from January 2002. And now she is in Imara Hair Salon I am still her client. She does the best job with my hair. I get compliments from strangers about how neat and well my hair looks. THANKS Irene and Imara Hair Salon. You are simply the best.

After trying several salons in this area, I have chosen to stay with Imara. Irene the owner is the best at what she does. Whether its a color, weave, cut or style. At Imara the atmosphere is peaceful and professional. She is always on time which is very important to me. I cant express in words just how good she is, you need to try her for yourself. I know that you won't be disappointed.

The owner Irene has been my beautician for years. I love what she has done with improving the overall condition of my hair. I can wear it short or long depending on my mood. Her assistants are friendly and a great help with shampoo, blowdry and color too. And, the atmosphere of the salon is great. I feel comfortable when I go in for a beauty treatment. You won't be disappointed.
