I’ve had MRI’s and many x-rays taken at El Camino Hospital Imaging Services in Mountain View, and never leave without being AMAZED at how quickly and professionally I’m able to get through those experiences. After visiting 2 other imaging centers in the Bay Area - both closer to my home - it was such a gift finding this place. Six stars for me…

Just returned from a treadmill test. Sherwin, the ultrasound technician was very experienced, warm, compassionate and quick. Heidi, the treadmill tech was also very experienced (25 yrs), compassionate, quick and humorous. She explained everything in detail, and answered all my questions. Getting an appointment is easy . But they charge a lot. Same tests (Diagnostic Mammogram + Ultrasound) performed at another facility under same insurance policy costed me 3 times less than what is charged by El Camino. Moreover received 2 bills one from El Camino and another from the Silicon Valley Diagnostics .

My daughter was an emergency patient and admitted. Never was I told that El Camino Hospital uses an out of network radiology MD and the actual MRI/CT/x-ray department is out of network with Blue Cross when the PPO hospital is. It was in the small print of a multipage form we evidently signed that all their services are really not in the PPO network as they have been in the past.
