El Camino Imaging is truly the worst of the worst when it comes to patient coordination, phone etiquette, transparency, and efficiency. They will take every excuse to not see a patient, whether it be turning patients away for pended authorizations (note for all the patients: imaging IS able to see you if your imaging authorization is pended), not calling patients to inform them of imaging doctors have ordered them, and being uncooperative with staff, patients, and physicians. Paperwork issues
Horrible, because one can not get anyone to answer the phone whether using the physicians line or regular line or operator. The leadership of this department is rotten and indifferent to the needs of patients. The hospital administration has also done nothing to correct this problem now for years.
Double charged with no transparency on the charges. Received a bill from El Camino and later a second bill from Silicon Valley Diagnostics that I had never heard of or been to both stated other additional charges. This lack of transparency is not good for customer satisfaction. I had a follow up ultrasound and transv but had to cancel and schedule with Sunnyvale Radiology for a fraction of the cost. If I could, I would give 0 or negative stars.
I’ve had MRI’s and many x-rays taken at El Camino Hospital Imaging Services in Mountain View, and never leave without being AMAZED at how quickly and professionally I’m able to get through those experiences. After visiting 2 other imaging centers in the Bay Area - both closer to my home - it was such a gift finding this place. Six stars for me…
