Very disappointed in the level of care from this facility. Went for a CT scan with contrast and came out with my arm swollen 3X its size. All the contrast went into my arm and not into the vein. The other arm has a large lump too, being that the technician who was inserting the IV port must of went through the vein or just blew it out and NEVER applied pressure to it. I was sent out of there with an ice pack, no observation no nothing. Very disappointed, this is completely unacceptable
If you can go anywhere else, you should. The staff is so rude and they don't communicate instructions very well at all and then get upset when you don't do everything you were expected to do. I was made to feel like an idiot and spent my time in the waiting room literally crying because they were so rude. I also am disabled and I have trouble getting up from the table once the test is over and once again I was made to feel like a piece of garbage because I needed help. Central Scheduling department was very nice and were able to quickly see my husband for a knee and lumbar MRI done on the same day (12/29). Drove in a terrible wind and snowstorm from Jennerstown to get this taken care of ASAP and resolve his pain issues. The knee MRI was read on 1/2/26. The lumbar MRI is still waiting to be read. Told to call the ordering physician and request expedited reading, had to leave a message because you can't talk to staff who could actually do something. Do not recommend. On two weeks so far for ct results. Nurses on phone are extremely rude. Go to 611. They are wonderful and faster service.
Both ladies that helped me were extremely nice and helpful, would definitely recommend!
