They don’t fully disclose proper procedures to patients who are about to have surgery with them. They call patients and rush through a laundry list of instructions just to hurry and get off the phone. They’re not afraid to show attitude and hang up on patients who are asking questions about upcoming surgeries who are just looking for clarification. They also claim no fault if you lose your job for absences to have surgery, over procedures they did not explain in a justifiable time.
Went to the ER with severe pain after hernia operation. Among numerous tests, the Doctor ordered urine test for UTI, but it was never done. I ended up enduring a UTI for over 2 weeks without it being treated. All they wanted to do was keep putting a catheter in me, but never tried to figure out why I was having difficulty urinating. Followed up at St. Luke's urology a week after the ER visit and again no one tested me for a UTI. After doing a little research online, I had to ask them if I possibly could have a UTI. The doctors and staff are great but what's the point if you can't get an appointment unless your a new patient. Very frustrating.
The entire staff was awesome, nursing staff incredibly helpful!!
I would never ever e a patient at this hospital Staff was rude and only wanted to get me out of there after major surgery Think twice before going to this hospital

The receptionist/technician was rude at my checkin. It was my first visit, therefore, I asked some questions about the appointment. Her tone and words were not kind. She seemed annoyed by my questions. Dr. Ephraim performed an exam. I had to ask questions because she did not talk through what she was doing. Worst part was she did not tell me a certain part of the exam would be painful or had risks. I ended up with a severe UTI a few days later. I have not returned to her.
Horrible service. I dealt with their Allentown office. I then moved to Bethlehem. Called to make an appointment because I have severe back pain. I was told the location transfer would require approval. It’s been over 30 hours. No call back. Ridiculous. It’s the same practice. Will never deal with them again .
