Terrible experience. Not clear in communicating. From beginning to end. Waiting an hour thinking something must be wrong with my results. Only to be told after an hour that “we don’t ask people to wait” very stressful and upsetting. The more we pay for healthcare the worse it gets
Had my annual mammogram and sonogram this morning. The sonographer noticed something on my mammogram that did not appear last year. She called in the radiologist who read my sonogram in real time. A tiny abnormality- undetermined. But nevertheless I need a biopsy. The radiologist had already read my mammogram which was normal. I cannot thank the technologists and the radiologist enough for this impeccable care. They were so kind and caring and supportive. They moved so fast when the abnormality was spotted. Melanie at the front desk went above and beyond to resolve an issue with paperwork from my doctor’s office. The technicians were experienced and put me at ease. Don’t put off making an appointment :0)
Anyone going here is going for a reason. It can be nerve-wracking. From the front desk to the nurses, techs, doctors- they all helped make it easier. The kindness and compassion I wS shown,is how Healthcare SHOULD ALWAYS be. Sue and Jasmine who did my imaging were great. Dr Tony and Emily who did my biopsies were amazing. Answered all my questions and concerns, very gentle and compassionate. They went into detail each step explaining what was going on . Everything was on time. I have had an appt scheduled with them since the summer. I brought the mammogram script with me at that time because I was afraid I would lose it. Now I get a letter from them stating it is time for my mammo and to call to make an appt. Really? So now they have lost the script and dont have an appt on file? Further, I am a Medicare patient and the earliest I can have it is 12/26. I am starting a new job on 1/2 and will not be allowed to take time off due to their screw-ups.
