VERY disappointed! Made an appointment for my child, drove 30 minutes and showed up 10 minutes early to a locked door. I messaged her through the portal and tried calling the only number I could find to which I got no response from either. We waited for 15 minutes past appt time even and still nothing. It's been hours since and I've yet to hear an apology or explanation of any kind. If you speak with Ms. Katie longer than a few minutes, you can see that assisting children is her passion. She talks about her work and lights up about improvements she's seen in patients. I think everyone should realize that therapists are people as well, and deal with their own stressors of their lives. Ms. Katie is a problem solver, and I fully believe if you approached her with concerns you would be met with understanding and sympathy. Therapists are well educated, but they aren't mind readers. Unprofessional. Ineffective. Do you mind dealing with appointments canceled at the last minute, the provider not showing up with no advance notice, and the provider ending communication for long periods of time? Do you mind a provider you catch sleeping during appointment times? That is what happened with this woman. Among many other things that were unprofessional. If only negative stars were available. She really didn't earn the one required to leave a review.
My daughter loved going there until the therapist stopped showing up and kept canceling appointments. Sometimes she’d just not show up. She canceled my daughters last appointment and never heard from her again.
Mrs. Katie is a wonderful lady, my daughter loves her and looks forward to their "talk time" I'm so happy that we have her as a part of our preteen and teen years!!
