Dr. Sanjeet Baidwan is special. I mean that with every bone in my body. I initially chose her because it was important to me to be seen by a doctor of color, especially after years of my autoimmune disease being passed off as everything else because I was Black (I kid you not, a doctor actually said that it was weird I had Celiacs because Black people don’t have it).
