Ilene and Erica are a wonderful team of speech therapists that work to support your child's therapy needs. Our child has grown with their services due to their ability to listen to our concerns and most importantly their expertise/experience in noting the needs your child may have. It has been such a positive experience for us to have been referred to IM Speech.
My daughter has been working with Ilene and Erica for about a year now and the progress she has made has been incredible. We’ve seen significant improvement not only in her speech but also in her confidence. Their sessions are always fun, engaging, and thoughtfully tailored to her interests. I’m so grateful for Ilene and Erica and highly recommend them to anyone seeking speech therapy for their child!
Ilene is incredible. I switched to her when my son was 4yo. I saw a significant difference in 2 weeks. I was committed after that. The progress that we’ve seen in the time he was being treated was unbelievable. My son couldn’t even speak. Today he doesn’t stop talking. I am forever grateful for her deep caring and hard work!
Dr. Refkin was kind and encouraging to my daughter. She knew how to capture her attention, which is not easy for a 2 year old. After only a few weeks, my daughter made significant improvements that even her teachers noticed. Thank you Dr. Refkin!
Erica began working with our six-year old son a little over eight months ago. Since that time his speech and language skills have already shown remarkable improvement. His ability to express himself has increased significantly and as a result he is much less prone to frustration and having outbursts both at home and in school. We are so grateful to Erica for her insight, sensitivity and talent in working with our son.
