These people are all morons. I got an alert saying that my I-pass was empty, so I went on their website to refill. The site said "The I-PASS account information provided does not match our records" witch makes no sense considering all it asked was for my name, plate, and transponder all have not changed. The online toll payment system is a joke. Did not find my toll on the system for the days I was in Chicago then two months later I get a bill for more than double fee to pay my toll. It is ridiculously over charging for no fault of yours. Fix your system Illinois Tollway! Just so you know, other states send a toll bill to your home without any penalty and give you some time to pay.

This entire system is an absolute joke. All I was trying to do was pay the unpaid tolls that had accumulated because my card on file linked to my ipass was inexplicably removed. Let me repeat… I have an ipass that I pay for yet I was getting hammered with tollway tickets. You can see why I’d call for an explanation. The roadways are okay, some large pot holes but generally a flat surface. Don't miss paying any tolls, they will charge you a fee 200% higher than the toll. They don't take cash anymore either, so electronic payment is what you will have to use.

If I could give a 0 for the incompetence of these people. It's sad you're already getting double-taxed for paying for roads they take taxes for anyway. It seems the State of Illinois only cares about one thing and that's lining the pocket of the corrupt politicians and taking money for food out of the mouths of children. They say they have compassion because they lowered the late fee from $20 to $5. But if you don't pay when they want they continue charging you.
