The sash repair itself was completed successfully, and the window is now working properly. However, I was disappointed with the level of professionalism. The workers arrived without shoe covers, so I had to provide them, and they left without cleaning or even wiping down the work area. While the repair was satisfactory, the overall service experience could have been more professional and respectful of the home.
Last week a window fell out onto my 85-year-old father's foot while he tried to close it after it had been detached for cleaning. It didn't break fractured his toe, ripped the screen and blood everywhere. It was too heavy for my mom to put it back and she wasn't sure if it was damaged so she called Illinois Sash. They came out that day, replaced the screen and helped her clean the windows before putting them back on the sash. And they charged NOTHING! GREAT PLACE GREAT PEOPLE! Thank you!
They were incredibly helpful after a window got damaged, handled everything from the ordering to the installation very professionally and efficiently.
